Timeline Step by Step

 

 

Application Phase | May 20 - July 31

  1.  

    Register on the platform and submit your proposal deck of 13 slides in English (PPT or PDF format), addressing the following:

    • Executive Summary – 1 slide
    • Problem Statement – 1 slides
    • Service and Business Model (e.g. what's your service and business model), and how money works (e.g. pricing structure)? – 1 slide
    • Sales & Growth Transaction – 2 Slides
      • Service revenue of (up to) last 3 years and revenue forecast for 2021
      • Size of client/user base, reference client/project
    • Market Potential – 1 slide
    • Competitive Landscape – 1 slide
    • Solution Outline – 3 slides
      • High-level solution architecture
      • Solution USP
      • Solution development roadmap & key challenge(s)
    • Strategy/Business Growth Roadmap – 1 slide
    • Funding Received – 1 slide
    • Team – 1 slide
     

    Participating startups are also required to complete the submission form describing the background of the company.

    The deadline for the submission will be on July 31, 2021 at 11:59pm BKK (GMT+7).


1st Shortlisting | August 1 - August 13

  • Huawei judges to vote on the top 20 startups based on the following criteria:

    • Relevance
    • Market Potential
    • Service Model
    • Business Traction
    • Technology USP Scalability & Limitations
    • Financial Viability

     

    The top 20 startups will be selected for the next round. The results will be announced by August 13, 2021.

Mentoring Phase | August 14 - August 27

  • The selected participants will be mentored by Huawei experts to improve their proposal..

    For the second voting phase, challengers will be asked to submit the following:.

    • Demo Video
    • Updated 13 slide deck

    The deadline for the submission will be on August 27, 2021 at 11:59pm BKK (GMT+7).

     
     

2nd Shortlisting | August 28 - September 3

  • Huawei judges to vote on and select the semi-finalist startups based on the following criteria:

    • Relevance
    • Market Potential
    • Service Model
    • Business Traction
    • Technology USP Scalability & Limitations
    • Financial Viability
    • Team Strength

     

    The top 10 semi-finalist startups will be selected. The results will be announced in early September.

Final Event | September

  • The Top 10 finalists will pitch to the Huawei jury panel. They will be judged on the following criteria:

    • Relevance
    • Market Potential
    • Service Model
    • Business Traction
    • Technology USP Scalability & Limitations
    • Financial Viability
    • Team Strength

     

    The Top 10 startups will be ranked in 4 prize pools. The results will be announced immediately during the final pitch.
